The intention for this program is to teach women all about self-care and nurturance. Women’s health, in all its complexity, is an important and often overlooked arena in modern medicine. Women need to be tended to in a special way, which is where Ayurveda comes in. Ayurveda is a soft, gentle, and loving path to embrace our hormonal dance and other unique (and fabulous) aspects of being a woman. No matter what stage of life a woman is currently traversing, Ayurveda exists in order to bring them back to their true feminine form.
Ayurveda is ancient wisdom for the modern woman. The system shows us how to best serve our healing and growth through the deep acknowledgment and understanding of how we are put together. There’s no expression of a woman that is the same in all the universe! Therefore, there is no ‘one-size-fits-all’ medical solution. This practice, and the teachings, help us to not only celebrate that unique expression but to know it intimately, lovingly, and to serve it well.

The day retreat is a wonderful journey into the heart and soul of yoga and Ayurveda. Participants will descend deeper into the science of yoga and its powerful effects on the body and mind. They will learn about the importance of 'nectar routines’ for women and gain a deeper understanding of who they are.
They will learn how to tend to that uniqueness skilfully and with care.
Each attendee will receive a manual that serves as a self-care guide to use each day in support of their ever-evolving path through womanhood. Most importantly, they will learn that in order to give to others, they must first look after themselves. We cannot give from an empty vessel.

Stress and exhausted nervous systems are the number one cause of disease in our modern world. This demonstrates that medicine needed to allow for women to be more productive and content within the workplace is “calm”. Yoga and Ayurveda are not only healing modalities that have been around for thousands of years, but they are also pathways to give each women her own program and self-care ritual that will lift her mood, focus her mind, and bring about a space within her being where true contentment and creativity can grow.

This program is for all women who long to know more about their bodies and be empowered to look after them through their own innate wisdom. Women who are steeped in self-care practices are connected directly to their bodies and in harmony with themselves. From that harmonious inner world, everything flows with less struggle and strain. A well and grounded woman is productive, joyful, mentally clear, and on purpose in their lives. This is the key purpose of Ayurveda; how to live a balanced and well life in order to be of service to the whole.
